The Happy Loner series consists of a set of four artworks created by @kt518.art. The series features the artist's little cat as the protagonist, celebrating the happiness and contentment of solitude in everyday life.

"Precious Ride" by KT518 is the final installment of the Happy Loner series. This artwork depicts a curious cat finding solo joy on a merry-go-round ride, poised to embrace life's ups and downs. We have selected a Linkwood 15-years-old to compliment the artwork. The Linkwood has undergone a secondary maturation in a first fill oloroso sherry cask. This adds another layer of flavors to the whisky with dark chocolate, dried figs, dried dates, and herbal liquor.

  • Nose: coconut candies, liquorice, dried dates, camphor, beef consomme, orange peel, lemon squash; then the signature Linkwood floral notes surfaces, rosewood, white flowers, parsley.

Palate: complex is the word. Double espresso, warm pu'er tea, pink grapefruits, dried apricots, roasted nuts, dark chocolate mints.

Finish: quite long, rather dry, on liquorice, herbs and dark tea.

Fantastically complex aroma, with a long and lingering finish. An elegant, floral Linkwood further elevated with the use of a great sherry cask for second maturation.
