The gentle gurgle of the River Spey mingles with the clink of glasses as we raise a dram at the legendary Highlander Inn in Craigellachie, Scotland. This summer, we at Drinks Reimagined have spent two weeks immersing ourselves in the heart of Scotch whisky country, visiting over 20 distilleries, both large and small, traditional and modern. 

We were in Campbeltown, Islay, the Highlands, Speyside, the Lowlands. We visited distilleries that operated with six sigma blackbelt precision pumping out millions of LPA (Liters of Pure Alcohol), we visited distilleries where processes and records are still kept in hand-written logbooks and chalkboards, we visited distilleries that were well, tiny.

Today, amidst the magic of Speyside, our mission comes into focus.

Life is simply too short to settle for the ordinary, both in whisky and in life itself. Just as a canvas yearns for vibrant strokes, our palates crave new and exciting flavors. These small, independent players are the unsung heroes of the whisky world, meticulously selecting and bottling single casks that showcase the true depth and diversity of Scotch.
